There’s something so very heartwarming about being able to photograph a wedding in the very place two people first met. Syndicated Theater in Bushwick was not only the very beginning of their story, but also this next chapter in their lives together!

Just before the ceremony, we wandered around the block, spending some time together for a first look and some portraits. Guests arrived to celebrate, and their ceremony was the loveliest kind of sentimental — and full of surprises. A personal favorite moment was the “ring bearers” hidden in plain sight, with their wedding rings tucked under the chairs in the audience for two honorable guests to discover and bring forth.

The nighttime brought dancing and speeches. Popcorn became the wedding snack of choice, and of course a film played on the big screen — another nod to the place that first brought these two together.
